    Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

    Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you'll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Thamel. After check-in, take some time to rest and explore the vibrant streets of Kathmandu at your own pace. In the evening, join a welcome briefing about the trek with your guide.

  2. Day 2

    Kathmandu Sightseeing & Trek Preparation

    After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of UNESCO World Heritage sites including Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). Return to the hotel for a final gear check with your guide and prepare for the trek ahead. Enjoy a group dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant with cultural performances.

    Fly to Lukla (2,860m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610m)

    Early morning scenic flight to Lukla, one of the world's most exhilarating airstrips, offering stunning aerial views of the Himalayas.     Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

    Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

    Trek to Lobuche (4,940m)

    The most rewarding day of the trek! Follow the rocky Khumbu Glacier moraine to Gorak Shep, where you'll drop your bags and continue to Everest Base Camp. Stand in awe at the foot of the world's highest mountain, surrounded by the Khumbu Icefall and towering peaks. Return to Gorak Shep for a well-earned rest at high altitude.

  11. Day 11

    Sunrise at Kala Patthar (5,545m) and Trek to Pheriche (4,240m)

    Wake before dawn for the challenging climb to Kala Patthar to witness a magnificent sunrise painting Mount Everest in golden hues — the closest views of Everest on the entire trek. After returning to Gorak Shep for breakfast, begin the descent past Lobuche and Thukla to Pheriche village. The lower altitude will feel restorative after days above 5,000m.

    Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

    A long but rewarding descent takes you back through Pangboche and Tengboche, then across the Dudh Koshi to reach Namche Bazaar. Enjoy the comforts of Namche in the evening, perhaps celebrating with a slice of cake at one of the town's famous bakeries.

    Fly Back to Kathmandu and Departure

Best Time to Visit

The best seasons for the Everest Base Camp Trek are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), when skies are clear, temperatures are moderate, and mountain views are at their finest.

Difficulty & Fitness

This is a challenging trek requiring good physical fitness. Trekkers walk 5-7 hours daily at high altitude. Prior hiking experience is recommended, and cardiovascular training before the trek is highly advised.

Altitude Sickness

The itinerary includes acclimatization days at Namche Bazaar and Dingboche to minimize the risk of altitude sickness. Stay hydrated, walk slowly, and inform your guide of any symptoms immediately.

Accommodation

During the trek, you'll stay in local tea houses offering basic but comfortable twin-sharing rooms with shared bathrooms. Hot showers and Wi-Fi may be available at extra cost.
